Novvyl is a small independent studio that builds consumer mobile apps and the websites that support them. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We keep it plain because the whole point of what we build is respecting your data.
Who we are
Novvyl ("we", "us") operates this website and the apps launched under it, including Tuned and Kept. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect on this website
If you sign up for launch updates, we collect the email address you provide. That's it. We use it for one purpose: to email you when the product launches, and — if you choose to send it — to import a data file you share with us. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising.
Our signup form is provided by Tally, which stores submissions on our behalf. Tally's own handling of that data is governed by Tally's privacy policy.
What our apps collect
When you use one of our apps and create an account, we collect what's needed to run the app and sync your data across your devices:
- Account information — your email address, and (if you use Google sign-in) the basic profile Google shares to authenticate you.
- The content you create — the items, records, lists, and reminders you add. This is yours; we store it so you can access it and sync it, nothing more.
Authentication and data storage are handled by Supabase, our backend provider. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat together with the Google Play billing system; we never see or store your full payment card details.
Some apps use third-party content sources — for example, Tuned uses The Movie Database (TMDB) for show and movie information. Use of that data is subject to TMDB's terms; TMDB does not endorse or certify our apps.
Why we're allowed to hold your data
We process your email for launch updates on the basis of your consent, which you give by signing up and can withdraw at any time. We process in-app data because it's necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
How long we keep it
We keep your launch-signup email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the launch campaign is over. We keep in-app account data until you delete your account, at which point it is wiped.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time. If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or Israel, these rights are backed by law (including the GDPR and Israel's Privacy Protection Law). To exercise any of them, email [email protected] and we'll act on it.
Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
